Description
The Southeast Regional Collaborative (SERC) is a HRSA funded regional project for newborn screening and genetics services in the Southeastern United States. SERC’s mission is to provide access to, coordination of, and provision of optimal services to individuals with heritable disorders using trained experts, best practice models, and a uniform newborn screening system to improve the quality of health of those individuals and their families. This webinar gives an overview of the Core and Priority Activities of SERC, SERC's Consumer Alliance activities. It also updates participants on the physician-supported patient registry, NBS Connect.
