Genetic Alliance webinars
Description
We are in the Genome Age. New information about genetic testing, family health history, gene discoveries and more comes out daily in scientific journals and, increasingly, the popular press. But what does it all mean? In this presentation you will hear from people who create art – and make genetics relatable through their art. Their work changes the way we think about disease, and makes genetics a topic people are comfortable with and interested in. Presenters share their experiences bringing genetics to the public and suggest ways to utilize different media for your outreach to broad audiences.
