In June 2008, Genetic Alliance awarded ten Community Centered Family Health History Program Awards to incorporate FHH materials into organization's ongoing programs and initiatives in innovative ways. Since then, awardees have successfully and seamlessly integrated conversations about FHH into diverse communities across the country, representing disease-specific organizations, medical schools, universities, employee wellness programs, racial/ethnic groups, nontraditional medical providers, regional and local community groups, and more.
