Document Description
The Family Genetics Education Project involves a partnership among the National Tongan American Society (NTAS), Utah Department of Health (UDOH), and Genetic Science Learning Center at the University of Utah (GSLC). Its goal is to develop genetics education materials for use in the Pacific Islander community. The NTAS recruited a Tongan/Samoan Community Advisory Committee which worked with UDOH and GSLC to develop bilingual adaptations of education materials for implementation in community classes.
