Document Description
The Latina/o Consumer Genetics Education Network, of the Dominican Women’s Development Center, seeks to empower community members to educate others and become resources on genetics-related issues. A Spanish/English genetics training curriculum for Community Health Workers (CHWs) was developed. The curriculum and associated community presentation materials have provided CHWs with knowledge and leadership skills to facilitate educational sessions in the community.
