By submitting User Submissions to the Genetic Alliance, you hereby grant the Alliance a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicenseable and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, and perform your User Submissions in connection with the Site.  You also hereby grant each user of the Site a non-exclusive license to access your User Submissions through the Site and to use, reproduce, distribute, display and perform them as permitted by these Terms of Use.  Although the license granted to the Alliance to post the User Submission on the Site terminates within a commercially reasonable time after you remove or delete your User Submission from the Site, anyone who may have accessed or downloaded the User Submission prior to such removal or deletion may continue to use all or any part thereof for the purposes set forth in these Terms of Use and as contemplated by the Site provided that all copyright and other proprietary notices on the User Submission are included with each use.  You further agree that you will not submit User Submissions that violate the Community Guidelines, are copyrighted, protected by trade secret or otherwise subject to third party proprietary rights, including privacy and publicity rights, unless you are the owner of such rights or have permission from their rightful owner to post User Submissions and to grant the Genetic Alliance and other Site users the license rights granted herein.  The Genetic Alliance has no control over User Submissions once it is uploaded to the Site and will not be liable for any use or misuse.  That said, the Alliance does not permit activities on the Site that constitute infringement of any intellectual property rights and reserves the right to remove User Submissions without prior notice or liability.
